With CES 2013 coming to a close over the weekend, the volume
of announcements and new product releases rose to a fever pitch as the show
came to a close… and even for a fanatic like me the volume of the #CES2013
hashtag (which according to some reports was used over 1.2 million times during
the course of the 4 day event. In the interest of making that volume a
bit easier for all of you to consume, today’s edition includes a terrific
article on the ‘social conversation’ around the event as well as one of the
best wrap ups I could find on the Web – courtesy of 9to5Mac.com

One the authors that I follow on a fairly regular basis on
the Web is Randy Gage. Randy just published an excellent new book –
Risk
is the New Safe: The Rules have changed – and is prolific blogger as
well… focusing mostly on innovation and disruption. His latest blog posting I've linked to below and would encourage you to read it with a mind towards how some
of the disruptions that Randy is predicting in the coming year… may well impact
you and your business. While you’re at it, I’d encourage an ongoing visit
to Randy’s site… as there are a large number of great marketing insights and
techniques I've been able to extract from his writings over time.

Finally, as our +1 for today, I’m always on the prowl for
new voices to add to my daily ‘media diet’ (more on that concept in a future
edition), and this week ran across a terrific listing on
B2BMarketinginsideer.com that sports a great listing of the year’s best
B2B bloggers. Covering a wide range of topics and disciplines, I’d
certainly encourage you to take the time to review the listing, but just as
importantly take the time to read and subscribe to some of these superb
thinkers in the coming year. You can rest assured that a number of them
will make appearances in our weekly “Buckley’s Best of the Blogosphere” edition
as well.
Thanks for the shout out!
